Meet the Team!

Hi from Mel (whiskers_in_the_ear)

I am Mel and I'm one of your friendly ALUK Mods. I'm here to help keep things running smoothly and of course assist with any queries that anyone may have.

When I'm not here online I am likely to be found either at my day job or working at running and building my small rescue, Whiskers In The Ear. It has only been running a few short months and I am starting things small but so far so good.

I am passionate about all animals and animal welfare and love to get involved and "hands on" with husbandry... I think my ideal job would be making Whiskers into a large rescue and running it full time, though a lottery win may be needed first!

Away from the animal interests I love performence art, both being involved with and visiting the theatre. I always love a dramatic flair and also enjoy a good book or a movie (if I ever have time to watch one)

I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for being here and supporting us here at ALUK and really making a difference to the lives of animals!
